The popularity of sustainable design and construction is gaining ground in the United States, and insurance professionals are being asked to provide coverage for new building techniques. We will discuss claims issues that are expected to arise as "green" building continues to grow, and we will examine new risks created by society’s desire for environmentally safe and sustainable building design and construction.

1:00PM-4:35PM - "Professional Liability - Analyzing the Risk and Finding Solutions" - 4 CE Credits approved in PA, DE, MD

Risk exposure to professional liability can severely hamper organizations. Insureds look to insurance professionals to recommend solutions for mitigating exposures and protecting against losses. This interactive course will explore the basis in law for the exposure and risk, identify methods of effectively handling the exposure, and discuss emerging legal issues that certain professionals face. It will include in-depth discussion of current case law.
