Topic: So We Kinda Survived a Pandemic. Now What?

We are pleased to welcome back a very esteemed member of the CPCU Society's Leadership Council, Traci Adedeji. Traci gave a presentation to us last year at this time on Diversity and Inclusion. It was fascinating and enlightening and many who participated in that virtual presentation engaged with questions and with some of our own personal experiences.

This year, Traci will be talking about workplace accommodations we made for COVID through a DEI lens. She will be presenting virtually.

Once again, we are holding our meeting in person at Lititz Mutual Insurance Company with a virtual option to connect via Zoom. See below.

We ask all who plan to attend in person to RSVP by Wednesday, April 13, so we can plan for enough breakfast refreshments.

BIO:

Traci Adedeji, CPCU, ARM, API, AIDA, A-CSPO, TRIP

AIO Program Lead, AIPSO Insurance Operations

Traci Adedeji is the Insurance Operations Program Lead at AIPSO in Johnston, RI, where she oversees residual market automobile insurance plans in multiple states. Her insurance career began on the agent/broker side of the industry in 1984, and her 30+ years of experience includes leadership roles with several national carriers. Her expertise is in personal lines underwriting and Agile project management and she is a sought-after speaker and facilitator.

Traci is the Immediate Past-President of the Rhode Island CPCU chapter where she has served as a volunteer leader for 6 years. She is a member of the Society’s Leadership Council where she was the first person to ever transition from being the President’s special one-year appointee in 2021 to being voted in for a full 3-year term. She serves on the Council’s Executive Committee and works as liaison to the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Awareness) Committee. Her past volunteer service to the Society includes terms on the D&I and Annual Meeting committees. 

In addition to her designations from The Institutes, Traci is an Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (Scrum Alliance) and a Transportation Risk Insurance Professional (IRMI). Her professional affiliations include membership in the Society for Insurance Trainers & Educators (SITE) and the National African-American Insurance Association (NAAIA) – Boston chapter where she serves as a board member. Traci serves on the board of New England Basecamp and is a proud member and class spokesperson of the Leadership Rhode Island 2021 Rho II class.

Traci is a native of Newark, NJ, where she attended Rutgers University. She currently resides in Pawtucket, RI and enjoys reading, writing, and cooking in her spare time.
